So, I make sure to include iodine-rich foods like seaweed to balance things out, ensuring I get all the health benefits of cruciferous veggies without compromising my thyroid function.

When we wake up, our cortisol levels are high and they take 60-90 minutes to come back down. High cortisol impairs the functioning of insulin.
