Walnut cream is a naturally sweetened, healthy alternative to heavy dairy creams. Perfect for fruit, oatmeal, chia pudding, or to finish cakes and desserts.
¾cupunsweetened nondairy milk(almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, or milk of choice)
3Medjool datesor Deglet Noor dates, pitted
1 ½teaspoonsvanilla extract
¾teaspooncinnamon
Instructions
Combine: Add the walnut pieces, nondairy milk, dates, vanilla, and cinnamon to a clean blender.
Blend until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
Adjust milk: Add more milk, one tablespoon at a time, or as needed, until the desired creaminess.
Notes
Milk: For a thicker cream, use slightly less milk. For a pourable sauce, add an extra splash of milk.For serving: Delicious over berries, sliced apples, oatmeal, or baked pears. Or use as a healthy frosting for cake or muffins.
